Dispensary Consultation Program

WeedWorks consulting services are dedicated to two primary objectives: expanding the medical cannabis customer base among individuals aged 55 and above, and providing the comprehensive support and education that was previously exclusive to them before the legalization of recreational cannabis.

Why is this necessary?

With the legalization of recreational cannabis, the focus on medical customers has waned, leading to a decline in service quality for this community. Here’s how WeedWorks aims to address this shift and support both new and existing customers.

We meet with senior living communities to educate on overcoming the stigma of cannabis and how medical cannabis can assist in the numerous ailments that affect their community.
We organize sessions at your dispensary to provide more in-depth cannabis education and collaborate with individuals to recommend products that effectively address their specific ailments and needs.
We allocate dedicated time in the dispensary to offer free comprehensive education on medical cannabis to interested individuals. We provide personalized recommendations for products that specifically target individual ailments and needs.
We provide education seminars to a range of healthcare providers including: Assisted Living Facilities, Home Health Care Agencies, Hospice companies, Integrated Pain Clinics etc. to educate their staff on the benefits of medical cannabis as their customer base is increasingly turning to cannabis. As part of the education, we will actively promote your dispensary as part of community outreach.

Randi Sobel

President/Founder

I’ve dedicated my working career to helping others beginning with teaching disabled adults to live independently and pivoting into a sales and marketing role by providing high-quality home healthcare for seniors. After taking time off to raise my three kids and volunteering extensively within my community and my kids activities.

"I discovered a new passion: educating seniors on the benefits of medical cannabis."

This revelation came during my mother’s struggle with chronic nerve pain from MS and over medication with opioids prescribed by her many doctors, which led to frequent emergency room visits. Drawing on my extensive knowledge as a medical cannabis patient, I successfully guided my mother off opioids and on to medical cannabis, significantly reducing her debilitating pain, eliminating her ER visits and improving her quality of life.

Through this experience, I recognized the challenges many seniors face in navigating the complexities of medical cannabis. Most new patients feel overwhelmed in dispensaries. They do not get adequate advice or attention to guide them to the right products for their ailments. It was clear to me that patients need an advocate to create care plans, explain products and dosages and help them safely transition to medical cannabis. I’ve since dedicated myself to bridging the gap between the dispensaries and the patients,offering that personalized guidance on product selection and dosing to ensure safe and effective relief. My goal is to empower seniors to explore medical cannabis as a natural, effective alternative, particularly when traditional treatments have proven inadequate.
